Kumawat Community

The name of our community is derived from three words; 'ku' earth (dharati), 'ma' mother (mata) and 'wat' defender (rakshak). When combined these words mean 'defender of earth' (dharati ka rakshak). We are simple, spiritual and karma oriented people, living mainly in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi and other parts of India. We are mainly engaged in arming, carpentry and construction work.
